We ALL love free stuff. Free beer, free, and definitely our free apps. In a world that costs so much, getting free stuff feels like you’re cheating the system. But are we really getting ahead using those “free” apps for our business needs? Or are we just shooting ourselves in the foot?

One glaring problem with so-called free apps is there is no such thing as a free lunch. But we all know app developers’ gimmicks to get us to give up our private info or upgrade to get what we actually need - so no need to go into this one. 

Next, ask yourself if that free app adds value to your business. Does working out of 7 “free” apps make you more efficient? Does it make your operations error proof? Does your free-app based business process translate into an attractive experience for your clients?

I bet if hooked you up to a lie detector, we’d quickly find out the true answer is no. So, instead of looking for FREE, look for what makes your business better. Spending a little money wisely adds to the bank and the future of your business.
