It seems to be a common misconception that to give your client a professional, “white glove” experience you have to spend lots of time with them. But guess what??? The equation that More face time doesn't = Better customer experience is simply untrue.
Think about it. You have a life outside your business – you’re a busy person with friends, families, hobbies and obligations. Your clients are no different. And while most certainly do appreciate you going the extra mile, face time with them is not their primary concern.
Rather, provide your customer with transparent access to the information they need and give them peace of mind knowing both parties can easily hold up their end of the deal. This is easily done through a professional management system with a client portal, which gives the client 24/7 access to all relevant contracts, invoices, payment history, project details, etc. By doing this, the time you do spend with your customers is actually building rapport and further building your business – without needlessly taking either of you away from the things you’d rather be doing.
